New template

  1. Event

Operators pick the template by its event name. The event folder is a value you can use, e.g. in the recording paths.

  2. Base preset

The RC kit’s vMix preset and its settings file. Uploaded once — each computer downloads it when it first makes a preset.

  3. Live spreadsheet

The event’s sheet with one tab per track.

  4. Wowza servers spreadsheet

The sheet with each presentation’s Wowza servers — the stream addresses and keys.

  5. Recording

Where Record 1 and Record 2 save.

  6. Audio outputs

An output left empty keeps what the base preset has. The Generator looks a device up on the operator’s computer, so “SoundWire” also finds “Speakers (2- SoundWire)”.

Inputs

The preset’s inputs that become NDI sources. Press + in a box to pick a value from the list, or click a colored value to change it. Under each box is what it gives on the track being checked.

Increase buffer gives smoother video on a shaky network, with about 5 frames more delay. FEIM runs the input in its own background process, so a faulty source can’t take vMix down; it uses more CPU and memory.
